1. Who we are
HireLatch is a software product operated by Red-Snake Technology LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information.
2. Dual roles
2.1 When we are a Controller
We act as a controller for business-account registration, billing, the Red-Snake Technology marketing site, support, security logs, account analytics and business communications.
2.2 When we are a Processor / Service Provider
For Customer End-User Data processed through a Customer’s widget, the Customer generally determines why and how the data is collected, and HireLatch processes that data on the Customer’s behalf as a processor/service provider.
3. Categories of data
- Account and company information
- Billing identifiers (full card numbers are collected by Stripe; we do not directly store full payment-card numbers)
- Website domain and authentication data
- IP, browser, device and logs
- Conversations, contact details, addresses and ZIP
- Attachments and photos
- AI inputs and outputs
- Support communications, cookies/analytics, subscription/usage and integration data
4. Purposes
Providing the Services; AI processing; lead capture; authentication; billing; notifications; security; fraud prevention; support; service analytics; compliance; agreement enforcement; and product improvement using aggregated or de-identified data.
5. Sale of personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. Analytics or advertising cookies may constitute “sharing” under some U.S. state laws; see Cookie Policy. [AD_TECH_REVIEW_PLACEHOLDER]
6. Privacy requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, appeal or authorized-agent requests. Contact [PRIVACY_EMAIL] with subject “Privacy Request.” We may verify identity before responding. We do not promise rights that cannot be technically fulfilled.
7. Retention schedule (must match product configuration)
- Account data: while the account is active and a reasonable period after closure
- Conversations: default 12 months unless Customer configures otherwise [CONFIRM_IN_CODE]
- Deleted workspace: hard delete or anonymization within 30–90 days [CONFIRM_IN_CODE]
- Backups: according to backup rotation cycle [CONFIRM_BACKUP_CYCLE]
- Billing/tax records: as required by law
- Security logs: limited technical retention period [CONFIRM_LOG_RETENTION]
8. Children
HireLatch is not directed to children under 13 and may not knowingly be used to collect personal information from children under 13. Business account users must be at least 18.
9. Security and breach response
We maintain administrative, technical and organizational measures appropriate to the Services. Internal incident response includes detection, containment, investigation, customer notice where required, evidence preservation and remediation. See Security Overview.
